Berry Peachy Pie

Ingredients

Crust:
2 cups flour
1 cup Crisco
½ cup cold water
Pinch salt
2 tablespoons sugar

Filling:
3 cups blueberries
1 cup diced peaches
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons butter

Directions

Crust:
Knead flour, Crisco, sugar, salt and cold water together to form a dough ball. This makes enough for two pie crusts. Cut in half and roll out each piece with a rolling pin. Place first piece in the 9 inch pie pan. Take second piece and cut ten strips to make a lattice top.

Filling:

Mix blueberries, peaches, sugar, and cornstarch together and then add butter. Pour into pie crust. Take your strips of pie crust and place five of them down spacing them over the top of your pie. Take the other five strips and weave them throughout the other strips going over under every other one. Bake on 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 min.
