Ingredients
1 frozen pie shell. 9″. Deep Dish
2 1/2 cups pecan pieces
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Peanut Butter Caramel
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup heavy cream
6 tablespoons butter, salted
3 Tablespoons smooth peanut butter
Ganache
8oz good quality milk chocolate bar. (Lindt)
6 oz heavy cream
Directions
Pecan Pie
Combine all ingredients for pie, stir well, and pour into pie shell
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees. Bake until center is slightly puffed Cool to room temperature
Caramel
Put sugar in medium, heavy pan and melt, stirring occasionally. When melted, add cream and stir. It will boil up. Cook for 1 minute. Add butter and stir. Add peanut butter. Cool for 10 minutes and some drizzle over cooled pie
Ganache
Heat cream until it simmers Break up chocolate bar and add to cream Stir until melted and smooth Remove from heat immediately Cool for a few minutes and drizzle some over the cooled pie
